Sammy Chibi

Hello everyone 🙂 My card for today features this beautiful Image from Yampuff called Sammy Chibi and you can find her at yampuff.deviantart.com. My husband asked me to make this for his friends mother and I couldn’t decide on an image but when I saw this I couldn’t resist using my distress inks again. I feel that I messed up on the hair though as I’m not very good at using the distress inks on the hair area, I just can’t seem to get it right. I tried to fix it a little with my pencils and I almost threw it out but I thought it’s supposed to be handmade so I will keep it and use it. I hope you like it x

Ariel – The Little Mermaid

Hello everyone 🙂 My new card features this gorgeous image from Yampuff – Ariel – The Little Mermaid, isn’t she gorgeous, my very first mermaid, and I can’t wait to do another soon. I’ve used my Prismacolor pencils to colour this up on some Kraft card – Craft UK Limited, and I’ve cut it out using my Crea-Nest XXL square, single stitched edge die. I popped the image up on some mini foam pads for dimension. The papers I’ve chosen for this are from the Vintage Charm 12×12 paper pad by My Minds Eye and I’ve matted this with some dark red card stock from my stash. The sentiment I have created on Microsoft Word and then I added it straight to my image before printing it all out. For a little bit of embellishment I added a few clear sequins and filled in the bubbles with some glitter glue – Crystal from Dovecraft. I also used my white gel pen for the dots on the tail. As always I’ve used a 6×6 scalloped edge pre-scored card for my base. I hope you like it xx

Zizzle Zazzle

Hello everyone 🙂 My new card features this super cute unicorn called Zizzle Zazzle by Yampuff and you can find it at yampuff.deviantart.com 🙂 she is just the cutest and if you take a look at the website you’ll discover that there is tons of digital images just like it. I have coloured her up with my Prismacolor pencils on kraft and my favourite kraft card is by Craft UK Limited, 50 sheets from the Range, bargain 🙂 I cut him out with my Crea-Nest XXL square dies, and the size of this particular one i’ve used it 4.5″. The sentiment I have written in Microsoft Word and added it to my image before printing it out. My paper choice for this is taken from the Dreamcatcher 12×12 paper pad by Dovecraft and I have matted this with some plain pink card from my stash. I have also popped the image up on some mini foam pads and i’ve added some small flat back pearls for embellishment. As always i’ve used a 6×6 pre-scored card for my base. I hope you like it xx
