☃️ Merry Christmas ☃️

Hello dear friends! Welcome back to my blog. As you may know there is no December release for C.C.Designs so for this month I am looking through my stash and revisiting other sets.

Another hobby of mine is cross stitch and I love to use this on my cards for a small element and a little bit of texture. Today I have used a pattern from Durene’s cross stitch and this is a free pattern that you can find on her Facebook page. I altered it a little to fit my card.

I have used the Snowman Inchies from the November release and the little stocking is from the Elf Inchies set.

I stamped my images with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and coloured them with my Arteza Everblend markers.

I hope you like today’s card and please don’t forget to check out the store and the new challenge Anything goes.

❄️ Avery Elle – Sledding Critters ❄️

Hello friends! I’m back today to share the Christmas cards, all 12 of them, that I have finally finished using the super cute sets Sledding Critters and Winter Wonderland Wonders By Avery Elle! I have also used the Avery Elle Picket Fence Elle-ment die set.

I have used my Arteza Everblend markers to colour these all up and I have cut all the elements out of some generic white card. For the background I used my Tim Holtz distress inks and to tone it down a little I added a layer of vellum over the top, which I have stamped and embossed white snowflakes.

I hope you like todays card. I hope to see you back here again real soon. Happy crafting!

🧝‍♀️ Gift Wrap Elf 🧝‍♀️

Hello friends, I’m back today with a card I have made for the Kraftin’ Kimmie Christmas challenge.

I have used an old favourite rubber stamp for this – Gift Wrap Elf – isn’t she just the cutest! I have used the colour palette suggested for this challenge which I will leave below in case you want to join in!

Aren’t those colours just gorgeous. I wouldn’t usually use these for a Christmas card but that’s what so great about challenges, it makes you think outside the box and try something new. 🤍💜💙

For my card today I stamped her out with MFT Cement Grey Hybrid ink on Strathmore Toned Tan paper. I then used my Caran D’ache Luminance pencils to colour her up. I have used a sentiment from the C.C. Designs Elf Swissie stamp set.

I hope you like todays card. I hope you join in with the challenge and I can’t wait to see what you create. Happy crafting!
