๐ŸŒผ Happy 50th ๐ŸŒผ

Hello everyone ๐Ÿ™‚ I hope your all having a great week so far. My card for today is using a technique which is completely new to me. I have been seeing all this gorgeous inspiration and tons of YouTube videos featuring the embossing/watercolouring technique which I’m just absolutely loving, so I thought I would have a go myself and I’m quite pleased with how it’s turned out for my first attempt. I came across some really sweet flower stamp sets for only a couple of pound so I decided I would get them and have a little play. I hope you like it.

๐Ÿ‘ถ๐Ÿผ Hanging Clothes – Baby ๐Ÿ‘ถ๐Ÿป

Hello everyone ๐Ÿ™‚ Merry Christmas! I can’t believe there is only a few days left to go, I’m so excited. My card for today is for this weeks inspiration over at Little Miss Muffet Stamps and it features this super cute image called Hanging Clothes โ€“ Baby. If your interested in purchasing this stamp set or any others you can find them at littlemissmuffetstamps.com. I decided that it’s time for a different kind of layout, I wanted to make it a little bit more fun and experimental. This card uses a selection of different elements taken from a range of stamp sets. The clouds come from the Somebunny stamp set by MFT, I didn’t have a filled cloud stamp but I still think this works either way ๐Ÿ™‚ If your new to distress inks I have found that my favourite card for the blending technique is Sheena Douglassโ€™s stamping card, it blends so smooth. I hope you like it. Xx

Driffoxie Balloons

Hello everyone ๐Ÿ™‚ My new card today features this really sweet image by Little Miss Muffet Stamps called Driffoxie Balloons and you can find him at littlemissmuffetstamps.com ๐Ÿ™‚ I have coloured him up with my Zig clean colour real brush markers on Bockingford 140lb/300gsm cold pressed watercolour paper. I have cut him out with my Crea-Nest XXL square dies and I have popped him up on some mini foam pads. My paper choice for this is from the Birthday Bisque 6×6 paper pad by jillibean soup and I have matted this with some plain green card from my stash. For the little embellishments I had a go at making them myself, putting some pony beads I believe they are called in the oven and melting them down into these little dome flat back dots, everyone was doing it to save money at the time but I don’t think I will be doing it again, my kitchen smelt like melted plastic for hours ๐Ÿ˜•hehe. Anyways for my base i’ve used a 6×6 pre-scored card. I hope you like it xx

Polka Dots Pals Uma

Hello everyone ๐Ÿ™‚ My new card for this weeks DT inspiration over at Little Miss Muffet Stamps features this super cute image called Polka Dot Pals Uma and you can find her at littlemissmuffetstamps.com ๐Ÿ™‚ I have coloured her up with my Prismacolor pencils and I’ve also used my Zig clean colour real brush markers. I wasn’t sure how my Zig markers would react on my Kraft card (Craft UK Limited) but they worked really well. I have cut her out with my Crea-Nest XXL square dies and I have popped the image up on some mini foam pads. The sentiment โ€˜You’re The Bestโ€™ is from the Hero Arts – Anything Can Happen 4×6 stamp set and I’ve stamped this with Versamark clear embossing ink and then embossed it with some WOW black embossing powder. I trimmed it down with my Xcut scissors. My paper choice for this is taken from the Mambi sheets โ€“ Friends 12×12 paper pad by me & my big ideas and I have matted this with some plain blue card from my stash. As always i’ve used a 6×6 scalloped edge pre-scored card for my base. I hope you like it xx

Redonkadoodlesย

Hello everyone ๐Ÿ™‚ Happy Monday, I hope you all had a lovely weekend. My card for today features this super fun image from Redonkadoodles called Pregnancy Glow. If your interested you can find it on their website Redonkadoodles.com. I have used my Zig clean colour real brush markers to colour her up on Bockingford 140lbs/300gsm cold pressed watercolour paper. The patterned papers I have used are from the Mambi sheets – Friends 12×12 paper pad by me & my BIG ideas and I have taken some of this paper for paper piecing the dress too. To do this I printed the digital image out again but this time on to the patterned paper, and then cut it out and glued it on to the image. To cut out my image I have taken my Crea-Nest XXL square, single stitched edge dies and run it through my Big shot machine. I generally tend to do this before I start colouring in just incase I ruin my image after spending all that time on it. For the sentiment I have used the Hero Arts happy stamp and cut set and used the happy die on some black fun foam and stamped the rest of the sentiment with Versafine onyx black ink, I love this ink, it stamps so crisp and black everytime. As always I’ve mounted my finished image up on a 6×6 scalloped edge pre-scored card base. I hope you like it ๐Ÿ™‚ xx
