🐰 It’s a girl 🐰

Hello crafty friends ☺️ I hope you’re all having a great day. I got the chance to make a baby card this time, I don’t get chance to do many of these, but I new I had to use the Tea with Friends and Picnic with Friends set from Mama Elephant for it. They’re both one of my favourites and so super cute!

I took the bunting die from the Lawn Fawn scalloped box die to embellish my card just to give it a little something something.

    👶🏼 Hanging Clothes – Baby 👶🏻

Hello everyone 🙂 Merry Christmas! I can’t believe there is only a few days left to go, I’m so excited. My card for today is for this weeks inspiration over at Little Miss Muffet Stamps and it features this super cute image called Hanging Clothes – Baby. If your interested in purchasing this stamp set or any others you can find them at littlemissmuffetstamps.com. I decided that it’s time for a different kind of layout, I wanted to make it a little bit more fun and experimental. This card uses a selection of different elements taken from a range of stamp sets. The clouds come from the Somebunny stamp set by MFT, I didn’t have a filled cloud stamp but I still think this works either way 🙂 If your new to distress inks I have found that my favourite card for the blending technique is Sheena Douglass’s stamping card, it blends so smooth. I hope you like it. Xx

    Redonkadoodles

Hello everyone 🙂 Happy Monday, I hope you all had a lovely weekend. My card for today features this super fun image from Redonkadoodles called Pregnancy Glow. If your interested you can find it on their website Redonkadoodles.com. I have used my Zig clean colour real brush markers to colour her up on Bockingford 140lbs/300gsm cold pressed watercolour paper. The patterned papers I have used are from the Mambi sheets – Friends 12×12 paper pad by me & my BIG ideas and I have taken some of this paper for paper piecing the dress too. To do this I printed the digital image out again but this time on to the patterned paper, and then cut it out and glued it on to the image. To cut out my image I have taken my Crea-Nest XXL square, single stitched edge dies and run it through my Big shot machine. I generally tend to do this before I start colouring in just incase I ruin my image after spending all that time on it. For the sentiment I have used the Hero Arts happy stamp and cut set and used the happy die on some black fun foam and stamped the rest of the sentiment with Versafine onyx black ink, I love this ink, it stamps so crisp and black everytime. As always I’ve mounted my finished image up on a 6×6 scalloped edge pre-scored card base. I hope you like it 🙂 xx

    All Dressed Up

Hello everyone 🙂 Today’s card features this beautiful image – A Star is Born from All dressed up. I wanted to make a baby girl card and this image was perfect. I coloured it on using my distress inks – picked raspberry and spun sugar on Bockingford 140lbs/300gsm cold pressed watercolour paper. As I’ve mentioned in one of my other projects using my zig markers this paper is amazing 🙂 I cut him out using my Crea-Nest XXL square, single stitched dies and then embossed him with a 5×5 dotted folder by Crafts-Too. The papers I have used are by Dovecraft but I can’t remember the name of the pad 😦 sorry, it’s been a while since I bought them. As always I’ve mounted it up on a 6×6 scalloped edge pre-scored card base and then added a small pink bow for a little decoration. I hope you like it 🙂 xx

    Stamping Bella

Hi everyone 🙂 Welcome to my first ever blog and blog post. I thought I would kick it off with my first ever attempt at prisma colour pencils on Kraft card stock. I used the stamp set Brynn has a baby shower from Stamping Bella, and it’s so gorgeous. I only own two stamping Bella stamps at present (sadly) but they are wonderful. I was so intimidated by this colouring medium, as with most to be honest, but after watching a ton of videos on YouTube by Julia Altermann @ Just one more card, I took all the inspiration I stole from her and sat myself down and had a go for myself. It was scary, but so much fun, I really enjoyed it and will definitely be having another go so please watch this space. Anyways enough rambling on from me, here it is, I hope you like it xx
