As you have probably guessed I’m having a lot of fun with the Kissy Smoochie digital stamp from C.C. Designs! Here is my second card for this month and this time I’ve chosen the bee! 🐝
Again I have used my distress inks to colour these up, I just love the soft results of this medium. I’ve used one of the happy dies from the Happy Happy Happy set – Lawn Fawn – and I’ve chosen soft yellow paper to bring it all together. 💛
It’s been a while since my last post but I have a super cute card to share with you today. As you may or may not know, C.C. Designs didn’t have a new release this months so instead for my inspiration this month I’ve been using a digital set from the shop called Kissy Smoochie! This set contains 3 adorable images for the price of only $8! It’s a must have! ❤️
I had a lot of fun using my distress inks to colour these sweet little fish up, I wanted to keep it soft but colourful.
Don’t forget the monthly C.C. Designs Facebook challenge is still on going. There is a new challenge every month beginning on the 1st and ends on the 28th. This month (July) the challenge is Red, White & Blue.
I hope you like today’s card. Keep your eyes peeled for the August release coming soon … it’s GORGEOUS!
Hello my dears! Do you ever struggle with certain card themes? I do! Mainly cards for men/boys, sympathy cards and anniversary cards. I don’t know why but I never have the right idea for the layouts. For July I need to make about 11 anniversary cards. Luckily I came across the gorgeous sets ‘Fuzzy Hugs’ and ‘Wishing You’ from Mama Elephant. Phew!
I have stamped the large wishing you stamp with Versafine Onyx Black Ink and embossed it with Tonic Nuvo clear embossing Powder. I stamped the bunnies in Alchival potting soil ink (second generation stamping) and I have used my mini distress inks to colour them in.
I hope you like today’s inspiration card. I can’t wait to share more with you. See you soon. Take care! Hugs, Emma x
If you have popped on over to the Kraftin Kimmie Facebook group lately you will probably have noticed a ton of challenges this month. Kimmie is always trying to get you to use your products more instead of just buying them and forgetting about them. She’s a real sweetie!
I have joined in with the challenge – Use your stencils – so I have pulled out my Harlequin stencil and created my own Distress inked background. The stamp set – A Koala-ty Friend – I bought back in 2017 and is in rubber so I’m not sure it’s still available.
I have stamped and coloured one of the images in the set with my Tim Holtz Distress Inks and I stamped a coordinating sentiment in Versafine Onyx Black Ink.
I hope you like today’s card. Have a happy Friday and a lovely weekend!
Today’s inspiration that I wanted to share with you uses the cute NEW To the shops Swissie stamp set from C.C. Designs. You may have seen me use this image for the new release with another Swissie which just shows how you can mix and match or use them individually.
I am so ADDICTED to using my inks to colour my images at the moment and their will be a tutorial for the skin and hair from the image today, over on the C.C. Designs blog – 16th June. So keep an eye out if you’re interested.
Each month MFT – My Favorite Things – release amazing new products. I absolutely love this. I also love to look back through my older sets as there is always sets in there that I love and want to colour up time and time again. You Gnome Me is one of those sets.
